Jennifer and Todd’s Foothills Golf Club wedding- Phoenix, Arizona

Congratulations to Jennifer and Todd! The weather was absolute perfection for this sweet couple. They could not have asked for a better day to highlight the beauty of the Arizona desert for all of their out of town guests. Jennifer looked gorgeous and was glowing the entire day, from the moment she put on her gown to the final dance of the night.

Jill and Mark’s Ancala Country Club wedding- Scottsdale, Arizona

Jill and Mark joined together in a heartfelt wedding ceremony at Ancala Country Club in Scottsdale surrounded by friends and family. I loved all the personal elements of the day from Jill’s friend playing saxophone as she walked down the aisle to the cake made by Mark’s sister-in-law. I wish Jill and Mark a lifetime of joy together.

Jennifer and Neeraj’s Ahwatukee wedding- Phoenix, Arizona

Jennifer and Neeraj were married at a beautiful ceremony at Mountain Park Community Church in Ahwatukee. The reception followed at Foothills Golf Club, a scenic desert location with an awesome staff. Jennifer had a fantastic dress that converted to cocktail length for the reception. I also loved her purple color scheme and gorgeous cake. The reception had a lively mix of country, pop and punjabi music that got everyone on the dance floor. Thank you Jennifer and Neeraj for letting me document your special day!

Michael and Sara’s Wigwam Resort wedding- Litchfield Park, Arizona

Michael and Sara were married at the Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park on a gorgeous September evening. The personal touches where everywhere at this wedding. Sara and Michael meticulously made all the decorations, boutineers and bouquets using paper from old books to look like newspaper. Michael is a photographer and Sara is a writer. They both are on staff at the West Valley View newspaper where they met. For Michael and Sara’s first date they made an apple pie so it was fitting that instead of a traditional wedding cake they cut an apple pie- which they made together the night before the wedding!

John and Brian’s Palisades-Kepler Park wedding- Mount Vernon, Iowa

David and I first met John and Brian while working at the Cedar Rapids Gazette in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. David and I were staff photographers and John was a graphic artist at the newspaper. John and Brian have been a couple for 11 years, they are best friends and keep each other balanced in life. John and Brian share David and my love of Boston Terriers and their little maniac, Chandler, was the ring bearer/ doggie of honor. The wedding took place in a beautiful rustic lodge at Palisades-Kepler State Park in Mount Vernon, Iowa. The ceremony was simply marvelous. It was heartfelt, personal and a celebration of unity.

As a surprise for Brian, John commissioned a song that told the story of their relationship.

It wouldn’t be karaoke without Brian singing “Love Shack.”
