To say I was excited to photograph Carol and Adam’s wedding in Florence, Italy would be a ridiculous understatement. It was a truly special and intimate affair with the couple’s closest friends and family flying to Italy from all over Europe and the U.S. The weekend kicked off Friday night with the hands down best food I had my entire time in Italy at Trattoria Pandemonio where the cooking is done by a woman who simply goes by “Mama.”
The wedding Saturday was at a gorgeous villa, a stones throw from Piazzale Michelangelo, with a sweeping vista overlooking the city below. Carol and Adam said their vows on the balcony of Villa La Vedetta- simply perfection. Lots of Italian wine and toasting, more delicious food and good conversation lasted throughout the evening.
Sunday afternoon Carol and Adam got dressed up again and met me along with friends Amanda and Toby to walk the rainy Medieval streets of Florence for more photos. The rain made photos a bit more challenging but I have to say it also added to the romance.
