Wiener dogs are funny little creatures so it was fun to include Mark and Kathleen’s babies in their engagement pictures. We walked around Scottsdale for the photo shoot because that is where Mark proposed to Kathleen. I am always a fan of sentimentality and places with meaning when it comes to portrait and engagement photo spots.
It always makes me happy when a couple tells me at the end of a shoot that the experience was a lot more fun and not awkward like they were expecting. I would never have guessed Tim and Michelle had any camera apprehension because they were such naturals in front of my lens.
Shannon and Keita’s gorgeous Troon North Golf Club wedding has hit the newsstands! Their wedding has been published in Arizona’s Finest Wedding Sites and Services Magazine. I just adore this couple and it was simply a joy to photograph their blue and lavender wedding. Troon North is a magnificent Sonoran desert setting and a perfect backdrop for a wedding. I am so happy for Shannon and Keita that their wedding was selected for publication. Thanks also to Mollie Beale at Troon North who is seriously awesome to work with.

I had too much fun photographing Dana and Steve’s engagement pictures. We started by chasing the fog in the morning and ended at the LOVE sculpture in Scottsdale. I really have to remember to tell couples to bring comfortable shoes, in addition to fabulous heels, because sometimes we end up off the beaten path. I can’t wait for their wedding in the spring!
I met Natalie and Jeremy at the Scottsdale Civic Center for their engagement shoot over the weekend. It was fun hanging out with Natalie and Jeremy who have known each other since elementary school and have been a couple since high school. I am a fan of tie dye so I was happy to see Jeremy rocking so much color! I am looking forward to their wedding next month!
