It always makes me happy when a couple tells me at the end of a shoot that the experience was a lot more fun and not awkward like they were expecting. I would never have guessed Tim and Michelle had any camera apprehension because they were such naturals in front of my lens.
Marisse and Kaveh met up with me for a colorful engagement shoot in Scottsdale while they were in town on a short trip from the East Coast. We walked around Scottsdale stopping in interesting little nooks and alleyways for the photo shoot. I love Marisse’s pink dress that pops in all the pictures. After such a fun engagement session I can’t wait for their wedding this summer!

I had too much fun photographing Dana and Steve’s engagement pictures. We started by chasing the fog in the morning and ended at the LOVE sculpture in Scottsdale. I really have to remember to tell couples to bring comfortable shoes, in addition to fabulous heels, because sometimes we end up off the beaten path. I can’t wait for their wedding in the spring!
I met Brett and Holly for their engagement shoot in Old Town Scottsdale. The Civic Center is a fantastic spot for photos with lots of colorful backgrounds and you are pretty much guaranteed to have a sea of emerald green grass. My favorite shot is the first one on the grassy hill but I also love how Holly’s red hair pops against the gray wall in the second picture. I am looking forward to their wedding in just a couple months!
I met Natalie and Jeremy at the Scottsdale Civic Center for their engagement shoot over the weekend. It was fun hanging out with Natalie and Jeremy who have known each other since elementary school and have been a couple since high school. I am a fan of tie dye so I was happy to see Jeremy rocking so much color! I am looking forward to their wedding next month!
