Japanese Friendship Garden wedding with Debbie and Mark

Japanese Friendship Garden Phoenix wedding photographer
There was no throwing rice or blowing bubbles for Debbie and Mark at the conclusion of their wedding ceremony, no, they decided it was fitting to have everyone feed the koi fish instead. I thought it was a really fun idea and let me tell you the fish came flocking! Debbie and Mark’s wedding at the Japanese Friendship Garden in Phoenix was an intimate affair with a few of their closest friends and family. Debbie’s smile was infectious and this wonderful group of people clearly have a good time together! All my best wishes to Debbie and Mark.

JR and Emily’s Japanese Friendship Garden wedding- Phoenix, Arizona

The Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix is a little hidden gem and a beautiful setting for a wedding ceremony and photographs. I was thrilled when JR and Emily contacted me about photographing their intimate wedding in the garden. They had a small and heartwarming ceremony officiated by a friend on a perfect Arizona winter day. JR is a photographer himself and for me it is always an extra honor whenever I have the chance to take pictures for a fellow photographer! It was great to get to know JR and Emily and I wish them much joy and happiness together.

Catherine and Carl’s Japanese Friendship Garden wedding- Phoenix, Arizona

Catherine and Carl celebrated their intimate and lovely wedding at the Japanese Friendship Garden in Phoenix.  The Japanese Friendship Garden, otherwise known as Ro Ho En was an amazing backdrop for pictures. The garden is a gem in Phoenix on 3.5 acres with over 50 varieties of plants, a koi pond and a traditional Japanese tea house. Carl is a firefighter so a nearby fire station brought over a truck for some pictures after the ceremony. Carl looked quite handsome in his tux and fire helmut and Catherine was too cute in Carl’s boots!
