Five-day-old baby Elyse

newborn portrait session

Sweet and snugly baby Elyse was all of five-days-old when we met for her first official portrait session. She was a perfect angel, dreaming in pink and surrounded by love. Congratulations to her wonderful parents, Michelle and Brad, and of course her older brother.

Aaron’s newborn photo session

What a delight Aaron was for his newborn photo shoot. He was a curious, sleepy and happy little boy. Three years ago I was photographing Bill and Amanda’s wedding and now I get to meet their beautiful boy! This is definitely a perk of the job.

Emmett and Andrew- Newborn Twin session

Is there anything cuter than a sleeping baby? How about 2 sleeping babies. I was lucky enough to photograph identical twins Emmett and Andrew for my friends John and Kim. At 10 days old these boys were sleepy and fussy, hungry and content, crying and calm. Each taking turns with their emotions. As I photographed the little guys they relaxed, cuddled up together, and held hands. I love these boys already and I am excited to watch them grow.

The band around each of the boy’s ankles helps tell them apart.

With their big sister.

Miss Abbie- Chandler, Arizona newborn photography

I met the adorable Miss Abbie when she was all of 9 days old. Abbie is just too cute with big pink cheeks and a round belly. She is also a pretty lucky girl to have such wonderful parents.

Gwen- Newborn photography

I was so lucky to meet Gwen while I was back home in Virginia a couple weeks ago. Miss Gwen, the daughter of my longtime friends Christine and Dan, was a week early. She is already such a little overachiever! She has the most delicate slender fingers. I also feel lucky to have been able to see my  friends during those first few days of parenthood. It is both a magical and utterly exhausting time.
