Exploring Maui

Hana

Angel is a hitchhiker Alisha and I picked up on our way to Hana. She was a character and ended up showing us a few secret local spots including a sea cave near the black sand beach at Wainapanapa State Park (right).

It rained every night in on the farm.

Alisha is a carved out rock near the Venus Pool.

Life in Maui

I am extremely lucky to be spending this week in Maui on an organic farm taking pictures and exploring the island. A couple months ago my friend Alisha asked me to join her at the farm where she would be living for the summer, after thinking about it for a millisecond I said yes! Kolealea is an organic farm with a focus on on-going sustainability development. The farm grows fruits and veggies as well as indigenous flowers. I am helping the farm out with some new photographs for their website. The farm is on the northern side of the island. It sits on 9 acres of lush dense land which has a seasonal stream that cuts through the property.
