Behind the scenes at the Bridal Fashion Debut

Thank you to everyone who stopped by my booth this past weekend during the Bridal Fashion Debut at the Phoenix Convention Center. It was a long but rewarding couple of days. I met so many wonderful couples and talked many other great wedding vendors.
Putting together a booth for a bridal show takes months of preparation. Everything from the photos on display to the information on my brochures is carefully considered. This bridal show I was excited to premiere my new album choices.
For brides the show is the perfect opportunity to connect with the people who are going to help you make your wedding day unique and forever memorable.
For anyone interested I am happy to set up a free personal consultation. Please contact me for more details. I will be announcing the winner of my free engagement session drawing at the end of the week!
Thank you to my husband and second shooter, David Wallace, for his help at the show.

Finding The Perfect Bridal Party Gifts

Bridal Party Gifts

I am a true believer in shopping at craft fairs and buying direct from the artist whenever possible. With that in mind I have decided to make a concerted effort to do most, if not all, of my gift giving with handmade goods. I like to know that my money is going to support someone with a passion for his or her craft. When you can’t get to a craft fair or don’t want to walk around the crowds there are a few great online boutiques where you can buy direct from crafters (full disclosure I sell sea glass jewelry that I make on the sites below).

One thing I love about Etsy is the Alchemy feature where you can request a specific item; it really can be anything, and artists around the country and world bid on creating your custom request. This is awesome when you are looking for unique and personal gifts for the people in your wedding party. I have even seen requests for handmade wedding gowns, veils, jewelry and invitations.
