Alisha Forrester Scott, Owner
La Ruche. event design studio
How long have you been in business/ how many weddings have you planned?
I began my adventure in the event planning industry in June of 2000. I formally began planning weddings in 2004, and since that time have planned 50+ weddings
What makes your services unique in the Valley?
To answer this question I offer a recent client referral:
“Alisha has the most incredible personality. Most people in this industry are snobby and have their own agenda. Alisha’s agenda is YOUR agenda. She not only took most the stress off of me on my wedding day but her pre-planning tools put her a grade above of the rest. Alisha not only goes above and beyond to make each brides day a dream come true, she has the stamina to mentally overcome whatever crosses her path. From overbearing in-laws to a bride worthy of the title “Bridezilla”, this is the role she is born to play. I wouldn’t have been able to handle a feat such as my own wedding day with out her.”
Why do you love about your job?
The challenge to make it newer, nicer, faster, and for less money. I never encounter the same set of circumstances which truly caters to my inner artist.
How would you describe your style?
Methodical, nonpareil, constructive
What is your favorite part of planning a wedding?
Taking stress off of the bride, groom, and their families.
What advise can you give to a bride and groom about planning their wedding?
A wedding consultant (planner | coordinator) can save you thousands of dollars in extraneous time and materials. Consider using an industry pro.
Anything else you want to say…
I love Laura Segall.
