I am an avid hiker, a book worm, a mom and an animal lover. I am married to an amazing Emmy award winning photojournalist, David Wallace, who shares my passion for photography and the outdoors. Click here to read our adventure blog.

I studied photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology in upstate New York. After graduating from college I worked for newspapers all over the country from Maine to Iowa. As a freelance photographer my work has been published in countless national and international publications.

Whether photographing an editorial assignment or a bride and groom I approach each subject with thought, care and passion.

Taryn and Caleb’s Flagstaff engagement

Taryn, Caleb and I met up for their engagement session a day after the first snow of the season in Flagstaff. I haven’t been this bundled up for a photo shoot since I lived in Iowa and I forgot how annoying it is to have my camera constantly slide off my shoulder while wearing a big winter parka. My blood has definitely thinned out living in Phoenix. Cold aside it was so much fun to photograph Taryn and Caleb in a setting of misty clouds and mountains and pine trees. We started at Buffalo Park then headed downtown to NAU and a few of Taryn and Caleb’s favorite haunts. I am really looking forward to their wedding next spring!
