Samantha and David’s Engagement

What I enjoy most about engagement sessions is the time I can spend getting to know the couple before the wedding. I able to get a feel for their personality and they can get to know me and see how I work. I am often hired 6 months to a year ahead of the wedding so this time together for the engagement is a good way to connect in a fun and relaxed setting.
Samantha and David are a lovely couple and when talking about where to do our engagement shoot Samantha mentioned that she and David met at a bookstore. I loved that idea! I think it is wonderful when we can do a shoot that is meaningful for the couple in addition to being beautiful. A big thank you to Bards Books for allowing us to shoot in the store! The second half of the shoot was at Encanto Park in Phoenix.
